#3

Receive a Medical-Grade Pregnancy Test

Circle of Hope provides highly accurate, lab-quality pregnancy testing in a private, welcoming setting.

If your test is positive, additional medical services may be offered to provide a clearer picture of your pregnancy and help you understand what information, follow-up, or support may be helpful.

You May Be Wondering...

Are you a crisis pregnancy center?
This is a fair question, and one we are happy to answer.

The answer depends on what you mean by that term.

Some people would consider Circle of Hope a pregnancy resource center because we are a life-affirming organization that does not provide or refer for abortions. At the same time, many people ask this question because they have deep concerns about how some pregnancy centers advertise and provide services, and we take those concerns seriously because people can be harmed when care is not honest, clear, and client-centered.

Over the years, some men and women have shared experiences that left them feeling misled, pressured, judged, or unheard. Some expected abortion-related services and later discovered those services were not offered.

Others felt important information was not clearly explained, their concerns were minimized, or they were treated as though the pregnancy was the only issue that mattered.

We understand why those experiences would be deeply troubling.

People deserve  transparency and complete information about who they are meeting with, what services are available, what services are not available, and what they can expect before they ever walk through the door.

That belief shapes everything we do.

From the beginning, we are clear about who we are. Circle of Hope is a Christian, life-affirming organization. We do not provide or refer for abortions, and we do not hide that. We believe you have a right to know exactly where you are, exactly what we offer, and exactly what we believe before deciding whether our services are right for you.

Just as importantly, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

You do not have to agree with us, share our faith, or make the decisions we would make in order to be treated with great kindness here.”

Many women contact us expecting a lecture. What they usually find is a conversation.

Our role is not to pressure you, shame you, argue with you, or make decisions for you. Our role is to provide medical services, practical support, accurate information, and a safe place to sort through what is happening in your life.

We do not use fear, graphic images, religious guilt, pressure tactics, exaggerated medical claims, or deliberate delays. We do not present opinion as medical fact. We do not believe women should be manipulated into any decision.

We believe informed decisions require honest information, time to think, and the freedom to ask difficult questions.

We also understand that pregnancy is rarely the only challenge someone is facing.
You may be worried about housing, transportation, finances, school, work, childcare, family pressure, relationship concerns, immigration issues, physical health, mental health, or personal safety. Those concerns are real, and they matter.

At Circle of Hope, we try to address the whole situation, not just the pregnancy.
Sometimes the most important conversation is not about pregnancy at all. Sometimes it is about finding safe housing, finishing school, leaving an unhealthy relationship, obtaining medical care, finding reliable transportation, or figuring out what comes next.

Whether you need a pregnancy test, an ultrasound, STI testing, medical care, transportation, parenting support, adoption information, community resources, material assistance, support groups, or simply someone willing to listen without rushing you, we will do our very best to help.

Our faith is the reason we serve, but your appointment is not a religious appointment. We do not discuss faith, prayer, or spirituality unless you would like to. Many of our clients appreciate those conversations. Others do not.

We respect both.

We also believe support should not end after one appointment.

That is why we continue walking alongside women, men, and families throughout pregnancy and beyond whenever they would like continued support. We provide assistance without strings attached. We do not require participation in religious activities, classes, or programs in order to “earn” basic help.

We also recognize that fathers often need support and guidance. When appropriate and welcomed by the mother, we help men better understand what she may be experiencing, how they can offer meaningful support, and what resources may be available to help them navigate this season of life.

Most importantly, we believe every person who comes through our doors deserves compassion, respect, and genuine care.
Whether you are planning to continue your pregnancy, considering adoption, have already had an abortion, are still deciding what to do, or simply need a safe place to ask questions, you are welcome here.

The people we serve are not pro-life statistics, projects, fundraising stories, or causes.

They are individuals and families facing real challenges, making difficult decisions, and doing the best they can with the circumstances in front of them.

Being welcomed into someone’s story is something we never take for granted, and we are honored to help in whatever way we can.
Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are always welcome. To help us serve you as quickly and smoothly as possible, we recommend scheduling an appointment. Call or text us at 352.355.6765 — we’re here to help and look forward to serving you.

What will this cost me?

Our services are always provided at no cost, because every woman deserves access to high-quality care and a wide range of support — without barriers or pressure.

What do I need to bring with me?

All you need is a valid photo ID — that’s it.

How should I prepare for a urine pregnancy test?

For the most accurate results, there’s no need to drink large amounts of water or have a full bladder. In fact, over-hydrating can dilute the urine and affect test accuracy.

For best results:

  1. Drink fluids normally (just stay comfortably hydrated)
  2. Avoid excessive water intake right before your visit
  3. Try not to use the restroom for 2–3 hours before testing
  4. Do not feel pressure to “fill” your bladder

Our medical-grade pregnancy testing is designed to be reliable without special preparation. You’ll be guided with care, invited to ask questions, and supported throughout your visit — so you can feel informed, comfortable, and confident.

What should I expect during my first visit?

When you arrive at Circle of Hope, you’ll complete a brief intake form so we can better understand your situation and what would be most helpful for you.

Please bring a photo ID to your appointment.

You’ll then provide a urine sample for medical-grade pregnancy testing and meet one-on-one with a master’s-level, specially trained client advocate who will take time to talk through your questions, concerns, and next steps in a calm, private, and welcoming setting.

If your test is positive, you may be offered a comprehensive, obstetric ultrasound using advanced imaging technology. This is not a generic confirmation scan. Every ultrasound is reviewed by two radiologists and our medical director, providing a high level of clinical oversight and a detailed report to help you better understand your pregnancy

Ultrasounds are available Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Can I bring someone with me?

You’re welcome to bring your partner, husband, a family member, or a trusted friend. We’ll begin by meeting with you privately, and with your permission, your guest may then join you. Your comfort, privacy, and support always come first.

I’m a teenager. Can I come in without a parent?
Yes. You can call, text, or come in to talk with us privately.

We know it can feel scary to ask for help, especially if you are worried about what a parent, boyfriend, or someone else may think. At Circle of Hope, you will be treated with kindness, respect, and privacy.

In Florida, a pregnant teen may be able to consent to medical care related to her pregnancy. Teens may also receive private testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections without a parent or guardian.

You do not need to have all the answers before you contact us. We are here to help you understand your options, your rights, and your next steps.
What if I am undocumented?

You are welcome at Circle of Hope, no matter your immigration status.

We do not ask about immigration information, and you never need to share it to receive care. Insurance is not required, and everything we provide is offered at no cost.

From the moment you reach out, we want you to feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. Whether you have questions, need medical services, or simply need a quiet, private place to talk, we would be honored to help.

What if I’m not sure what I want to do?

It is completely okay to feel unsure. Many women and teens do, especially when a pregnancy is unexpected or life already feels complicated.

You do not need to have an answer before you come in. At Circle of Hope, you can slow down, ask questions, and talk honestly about what you are feeling and what concerns you most.

We will help you understand your pregnancy, your options, and the support available to you so you can think clearly and make a decision that is truly your own.

There is no pressure to decide right away. You can take the time you need, share only what you feel comfortable sharing, and move forward one step at a time.
Do you provide abortions?

Circle of Hope does not provide or refer for abortions.

Our services are free, which means we do not profit from any decision you make about your pregnancy.

Our role is to provide clear informationtrusted medical servicespractical help, and a safe place for women, men, and teens to talk — so no one feels they have to choose abortion because of fear, pressure, finances, lack of support, or the belief that there is nowhere else to turn.
Will I be judged if I am considering abortion or have had one?

Circle of Hope is committed to serving women, men, teens, and families with deep compassion, genuine respect, and real help.

Whether you are considering abortion, preparing for parenting or adoption, or have experienced abortion in the past, you will be welcomed warmly, treated with the utmost dignity, and given the time, space, and understanding you deserve.

No judgment. No lectures. Just confidential care, straightforward answers, meaningful help, and, when needed, a gentle path toward hope and healing.

For those who have experienced abortion and would like additional help, we offer abortion recovery courses and counseling services at no cost.

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but Circle of Hope really deserves one. I’m a guy without insurance who came in for STI testing and was honestly pretty nervous. The staff made me feel welcome right away, kept everything private, answered my questions, and never made it awkward. I got my results quickly, the doctor explained everything, and my medication was free. I’m very thankful this place exists for men too.”

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This clinic is truly the best! They eased my mind and got me in as soon as possible. The ultrasound and lab work was easy and quick, and my partner joined me. The resources and support they offer are unmatched. I am so happy to have them as a support system going forward in this journey.

“Sharing such an intimate and personal experience with strangers is scary, but the people here are absolutely amazing. The empathy, kindness, and high-quality medical care they offer is better than what I have experienced at my OB/GYN. Every service was free, and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I’ve felt safe, heard, and truly cared for the whole time. 10/10 experience! Truly thankful.”

I don’t know how I could have done this without them.”
